ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Physical education plays a crucial role in promoting overall health and wellness. It involves the development of physical fitness, motor skills, and coordination through various physical activities such as sports, exercise, and games. Physical education is not just about improving physical health but also has positive effects on mental health, self-esteem, and academic performance.
Regular physical activity helps in reducing the risk of chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. It also promotes teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills. Physical education should be an integral part of every students curriculum to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
All students will be physically active and educated, having acquired motor skills to perform a variety of physical activities, physical fitness knowledge, and intrinsic motivation to pursue healthy and active life style.
MISSION:The mission of the Physical Education Program is to provide a comprehensive, progressive, and articulated physical education program throw quality. Our students will attain the knowledge and skill to be physically active and healthy for life in the 21st century.
Aims and Objectives of Physical Education
- Game objectives are an essential component of physical education as they provide a clear goal and direction for participants. These objectives vary depending on the game being played but generally include developing physical fitness, improving teamwork, and enhancing motor skills.
- Games also aim to promote fair play, sportsmanship, and respect for others. Some games may also have specific educational objectives such as learning about different cultures or historical events.
- By setting clear objectives for games, physical education can be made more engaging and meaningful for participants, helping them to develop important life skills such as leadership, problem-solving, and communication. Ultimately, game objectives help to create a fun and rewarding experience for all involved in physical education.
- To encourage sportsmen ship and to promote friendly relations among the various departments within the colleges and other colleges.
- To raise the standards of sports and prevailing in the colleges and to work for development of values through sports among students.
- To organize tournaments in different sports and games every year.

Rules and Regulations of the Competitions:- All the teams and individuals requested to report at the respective ground and places as maintained by the event coordinator.
- A Team comes individually late the team has individual would be considers a walk over.
- The matches will be played knock out basis.
- Referee decision is final in all matches.
- Draw will be taken by department of physical education and coordinators.
- Skill of their games performance and playing ability performance
- Character of discipline in the college
- The Players who selected college team in any event he/she should obey the rules of departments
- If any player found indiscipline character will be send out immediately.
- Both physical director and sports coordinator s will be the selectors for the College team.
