Academic Background

Dr. M. Sreenivasa Kumar earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NBKR Institute of Science & Technology, Vidyanagar, Nellore in 1987, and a Master’s degree in Design of Machines and Mechanisms from Regional Engineering College, Nagpur (now VNIT) in 1997. He obtained his Ph.D. from University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol, UK, in the field of Machine Vision.

Experience

Currently serving as the Principal of Sree Venkateswara College of Engineering (Autonomous), Nellore, he has over 34 years of experience in Teaching, Training, Research, and Consultancy, and has been Principal of reputed institutions in Andhra Pradesh.

Research & Interests

His areas of interest include Computer Vision, Image Processing, CAD/CAM, Neural Networks, Digital Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing Systems, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence. He has published over 20 technical papers and guided more than 30 UG and PG students.
